Sealed bids for the City of Thomasville's 2025 REMINGTON AVENUE WATER EXTENSION project will be received until 10:00 AM local time on July 24, 2025 at the City Engineer¿s Office, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 for public opening. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. The Prime Bidder will be properly licensed and will furnish all materials, labor, equipment & perform all work required to complete the project. This project consists of utility improvements to Remington Avenue from Schley Street to East Pinetree Blvd. These improvements include 6,987 lf of 12¿ HDPE, 910 lf of 8¿ HDPE, and 882 lf of 6¿ HDPE water main replacements. A complete set of plans, specs, & bid documents may be viewed at the City Engineer¿s Office (see address above) and obtained by emailing a request to

[email protected]. Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as having requested a complete set bid documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the Contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bond each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked 2025 REMINGTON AVENUE WATER EXTENSION & must be delivered before the time specified.
